1. About FaceRadar

FaceRadar.ai ("FaceRadar", "we", "us") is a reverse face search engine operated by R INVEST, a French SASU (simplified joint-stock company) registered under SIREN 912 713 682 — RCS Meaux, headquartered at 11 allée des Perdrix, 77600 Bussy-Saint-Georges, France.

VAT number: FR32912713682. Share capital: 1,000€.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaceRadar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Service Description

FaceRadar provides a reverse face search engine that allows users to upload a photo containing a human face and find visually similar faces from publicly available internet sources. The service uses artificial intelligence (face detection and embedding models) to compare facial features.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FaceRadar. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

5. Permitted Use

You may use FaceRadar for lawful purposes only, including but not limited to:

  • Finding your own online presence
  • Verifying the identity of someone you have a legitimate reason to identify
  • Journalistic investigations in the public interest
  • Academic or security research

6. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use FaceRadar to:

  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten any individual
  • Conduct surveillance on individuals without their consent or a legal basis
  • Search for or identify minors (persons under 18)
  • Engage in bulk or automated profiling of individuals
  • Discriminate against any person based on race, gender, religion, or any protected characteristic
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the service beyond normal use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we detect prohibited use.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Credit packs are non-refundable one-time purchases and never expire.

All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT (20% for EU customers).

9. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started. Credit packs are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from using the service, contact us at contact@faceradar.ai.

10. Uploaded Photos

Photos you upload for search are processed in memory and deleted immediately after the search completes. We do not store, share, or sell your uploaded photos. Search result thumbnails are retained for the duration specified by your plan (48h for Free, 30 days for paid plans).

11. Indexed Data

FaceRadar indexes publicly available images from the internet. We store only face embeddings (mathematical representations) and source URLs — not the original images. If you wish to have your face removed from our index, please use our Opt-Out page.

12. Intellectual Property

FaceRadar, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the property of R INVEST. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the service without our written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

FaceRadar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for the accuracy of search results, temporary unavailability, or any damages arising from the use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Meaux, France.
